seems that ever since World of Warcraft launched, all other MMORPGs have gone something like this: they are hyped as the “WoW” killer, preorders reach about 50,000, the company launches early even though bugs are reported in beta testing; two to three months late the game cuts down on servers, attempts a free-to-play scheme, and ultimately falls off everyone’s radar.
