The year 2010 could turn out to be a disappointing one for Indian gamers with the future of World Cyber Games (WCG) India, in jeopardy after organisers Indiagames allegedly pulled out of the event.

Indiagames, which has been organising the event from the time it was first held in India in 2001, has decided to pull out after a lack of support from the global event organisers ICM, say industry insiders. There are indications that Indiagames has not been getting the money it should be for organising the event, leaving them with the reponsibility of arranging for funds. Read more
