Perhaps one of the most under-hyped and unnoticed games to cross our paths in recent times, Red Dead: Redemption from Rockstar Games San Diego is about to shoot its way into our living rooms and entertainment dens across the world from May 18th (21st Europe – Aust – NZ).

Having played the game code once, and due for my second lassoing of it in a week or so, and having seen 2 up-close-n-personal hands-off walkthroughs, I can attest to the actual true quality of this game.

While I might jump up and down about several games, (hey what can I say, I’m just an enthusiastic older gamer who loves a good, well put together game), this one however is standing out in the world of true sandbox and open world adventures. A genre I find incredibly exciting and adventurous.
