Sony has had problems keeping a steady supply of Playstation 3 consoles in stores to meet demand since Christmas. The introduction of the PS3 Slim along with a price drop last year increased demand for the console but resulted in store shelves being cleared out for the holidays. Sony has been working with retailers but admits that supply will “be tight for a bit longer.” Now Sony may be in the precarious spot of having a system seller game but little in the way of systems to sell.
