Bungie on Destiny for PC, cross-platform saves

Destiny is heading to almost every significant system. It’s true though that the game hasn’t been announced for one major platform: the PC. Could we eventually see Destiny on the PC? Rumor: Hacker Claims to Have Hacked Xbox Live, Exposed 47 Million User Accounts

Hacked, or fake? Reports are beginning to surface that Microsoft’s Xbox Live service has been hacked, and 47 Million user accounts have been exposed.   An alleged hacker, going by the name Reckz0r, claims to have hacked Xbox Live and gained access to 47 Million usernames and passwords. He has posted a message, and the alleged partial results to Pastebin citing various reasons for his ire toward Microsoft. We have been unable to confirm his claims at this time, but I’m doubting the validity of this claim for a few reasons. First, the alleged full dump file referenced is hosted on a file sharing site Bayfiles, which is conveniently down at the moment (and has been for more than 30 days). Second, the credentials posted in the pastebin are “probably old” according to Reckz0r and this makes us wonder why he wouldn’t post credentials of accounts known to be current. Lastly, the “hacker” claims that the e-mail addresses and passwords were stored in plain text format. It would really surprise me if that were true, in this day and age. We will have more updates on this as soon as we hear from Microsoft, or are able to download the dump file ourselves. The post Rumor: Hacker Claims to Have Hacked Xbox Live, Exposed 47 Million User Accounts appeared first on ....
