Microsoft has released is fourth quarter earning reports which ended June 30. Microsoft's entertainment and devices division, which includes the Xbox 360, saw revenue increase 20 percent to $292 million. For the full year revenue increase to $9.6 billion, which profits at $364 million.
Microsoft shipped 1.1 million Xbox 360 in the quarter. This is down 0.6 million units compared to the same quarter a year ago. Total Xbox 360 shipments have reached 68.3 million units. Also Xbox Live subscriptions are up 15 percent year on year.
Microsoft as a whole reached $73.72 billion in revenue, which is a new record for the company. Income was at $22.26 billion and net profit was at $16.98 billion.
