Steam’s “Greenlight” program allows developers to submit their game for public approval on Valve’s digital marketplace, and those that accumulate a certain number of votes by a certain date will come out on the platform. Simple enough, right?
Well, of the hundreds of games that have been submitted for approval, only around ten are going to make it in the next round of releases, coming on November 10th. Valve also says that five of the titles will actually not be games– they’ll be Steam’s first foray into software applications.
