In comparison to the original Borderlands, Borderlands 2 offers much in terms of character customization beyond its skill trees. Players can customize their looks by changing their heads and their outfits—many of which are unlocked during progression through the game and by completing challenges.
In the spirit of Halloween, Gearbox has released special skins for each character class that allow players to take on the look of different bees. Despite being described as “spooky” skins, it’d be much closer to describe them as “creepy” for anyone afraid of the creepy crawlies.
Gearbox has released skins for three of the five character classes thus far, giving players who play Axton, Maya and Salvador the Gunzerker a chance to dress up like angry yellow bees today.
Each of these skins can be attained by redeeming the corresponding SHIFT codes.
The studio has plans to release skins for both Zer0 and Gaige the Mechromancer in a few short hours. We’ll update this post with the details as they become available, so be sure to check back.
