Up until now you had to be in front of a computer or your Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 to access the features of Call of Duty Elite, since it launched along side of the giant selling title Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. You can change your weapon loadouts form/join clans, schedule matches and much more including community features so long as you are subscribed to Call of Duty Elite.
Tomorrow the mobile app for Call of Duty Elite will launch for iOS systems (iPhone, iPad, etc.) and next week Android users will get the app. Beachhead Studios head Chacko Sonny has mentioned that the Call of Duty Elite program will grow with more features as well as the mobile app gaining more features as time goes by, as they are taking precautions to make sure they can deal with the sheer volume of people that dealt with the program. When the program launched they literally could not deal with the amount of people downloading it and logging in. The main features of the app are as follows.
