Media Create has reported that Fire Emblem: Awakening sold through 81.63% of its debut shipment in Japan. The firm attributed the success of the title to being heavily promoted, as well as the updated character designs and new game systems. Awakening debuted at number one on the charts, moving 242,600 copies during its first week. Thanks, Siliconera.
