Details on Kirby’s Dream Collection have surfaced. Kirby’s Dream Collection will be released later this year on the Wii, in order to celebrate Kirby’s 20th Anniversary. Nintendo has stated that six original games from the Kirby series will be included:
Kirby’s Dream Land (Originally on Gameboy, 1992)
Kirby’s Adventure (Originally on NES, 1993)
Kirby’s Dream Land 2 (Originally on Gameboy, 1995)
Kirby’s Super Star (Originally on SNES, 1996)
Kirby’s Dream Land 3 (Originally on SNES, 1997)
Kirby 64: The Dream Shards (Originally on N64, 2000)
In addition to the six classic Kirby games a special edition book will be included with the retail product. Bonus stages based on Kirby’s Return to Dream Land are also set to be released. There will be an in game interactive museum which will show the history and added details about the series.
Nintendo feels that they have put together the fan favorites of the Kirby series by including all of the most classic Kirby games. None of the DS, GameCube, or Wii versions of the Kirby series will be included.
This is sure to be a game fans of the classic series will enjoy.
