Today Forza Motorsport 4 received one hell of a title update from Turn 10 Studios, that raised the level cap from 150 to 999. The Forza 4 title update fixed a number of issues including the multiplayer lobby crashes but most notably the level cap being raised. Usually when we see a level cap raised in any game, it is raised by 5, 10, 20 or something like that rather then it going from 150 to 999.
Creative Director Dan Greenawalt stated the following regarding this level cap, that ”Our level 150 cap was based on data we gathered from Forza Motorsport 3… We believed it was high enough that our most hardcore players wouldn’t hit it for nearly a year… As it turns out, our fans are playing a lot more Forza than they did in the past ..[with].. our most diligent players hit the 150 level cap in a quarter of the time we expected.” Greenawalt went on to say “As a result, we’ve raised the cap significantly to give our most dedicated players something new and exciting to brag about on their player cards and within the Forza community.” The update includes other changes like 38 cars having their PI (Performance Index) changed among other things, which you can view all right here.
