Medal of Honor: Warfighter is taking the game world by storm, as most large first-person shooters do. EA is promoting it in every way possible and most gamers are extremely happy with where they see the series going. From having countless screen shots and a few trailers released a question arose among the gaming community that compared Medal of Honor: Warfighter with some of the previous first-person shooters out on the market. It isn’t a bad thing to compare Medal of Honor: Warighter to its competitors and after doing so the community has uncovered some questionable content. When one of Medal of Honor: Warfighter’s protagonist, whom is featured in many of the screenshots and trailers, is compared to Modern Warfare’s Captain Price the two look shockingly similar.
At first glance it is thought that the only similarity is the hat (the two definitely share a fashion sense) but when you look closer there are many more resemblances. From their facial hair to the way they carry themselves, these characters are so similar that they could easily be mistaken for the same guy at first glance. The men even share a similar weapon choice. It seems kind of odd that EA would model a character that looked like that after the success of the Modern Warfare series. Not only does Modern Warfare’s Captain Price appear in the Modern Warfare series but back when Call of Duty was in the World War II era a character named the same that looked the same was still present in the series (said to be Modern Warfare’s Price’s grandfather). Why would EA model a character so similar to that of Call of Duty’s most famous face? However the question still remains but that doesn’t mean EA doesn’t have time to make a quick change. Things with these two are just a little bit fishy, the exact same genera of game with the characters looking so similar… kind of been there done that EA…
