Portal 2 users create over 35,000 maps, Steam holds sale to celebrate

To celebrate the successful debut of the Portal 2 Perpetual Testing Initiative, Steam is holding a Weekend Workshop Sale, with huge discounts available for Portal 2, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and many Team Fortress 2 Workshop Items.

Since its release on Tuesday, users have created and published in excess of 35,000 maps using the games Puzzle Maker. Collectively, these maps have been download more than 1.3 million times.

As part of the Weekend Workshop Sale, Steam users can purchase Portal 2 for 66% off, and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for 33% off. Many of this year’s Team Fortress 2 Workshop Items are also available for 50% off their regular price. The sale lasts until Tuesday, May 15.
