Microsoft plans to release an app called Smart Glass next week, which is a companion application that will “act much like AirPlay for the Xbox 360,” according to a report on Engadget. Users will be able to play video and other media on their phones and tablets while “pushing” it onto their Xbox 360 console for later playback. It will be made available on tablets and mobiles running Windows, Windows Phone, Android and iOS, and will likely be revealed at E3 on Monday.
