Even with Resident Evil 6 properly on the market in all territories, the mediocre Resevil spinoff Operation Raccoon City is proving to be quite the long term seller for Capcom. In their latest financial report, the company said that the game actually enjoyed a boost in sales alongside the release of the latest entry in the main series, which is odd considering two things: Firstly, that it didn’t review very well, and secondly that it’s been our forever.
Also worth noting that RE6 is Capcom’s highest-shipped game ever, with 4.5 million units moved.
