Rumor has it Rocksteady’s next title is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game called Manhattan Crisis.
According to the rumor posted on the Paul Gale Network, all the turtles will be playable with access to each’s unique weapons, and will feature playable flashbacks starring Master Splinter and his former owner Hamato Yoshi before he was murdered.
Bebop, Dr. Baxter Stockman, Krang, Rocksteady, and Shredder will be the various bosses players will fight in the game.
The site also claims the Turtle Van and Blimp along with other gadgets will be included and a Wii U version of the game will include touch screen controls for various actions.
TMNT: Manhattan Crisis is said to be a bit “darker” than the cartoon series or previous titles in the series, and while it is unknown whether it multiplayer or not, it’s supposedly being built using Unreal 3 – as with Arkham City.
The game is rumored for release on PS3 and 360 as well as Wii U.
Again, mind you, this is a rumor. A very big one at that, so take it as such.
Thanks, CVG.
