The thief known as Sly Cooper returns onto the PS Vita when the game releases alongside its PS3 counterpart. Included with new controls fit only for the PS Vita that include the SIXAXIS motion sensors and the ability to save cross-platform. The cross-platform save ability is truly intriguing as it shows that Sony is ready to not only take on mobile gaming but doesn’t forget about the PS3, literally taking it on the go in the form of the new PS Vita. However it is interesting to note whether or not a gamer should have to pay for both versions of the game seeing that it is essentially the same game.
The game picks up where Sly 3 left off and finds the thevious racoon joining his rag-tag band of fellow thieves which create the Cooper Gang. Note that it has been confirmed that Carmelita Fox will be a playable character. This will be the 4th entry into the Sly Cooper franchise which first came out for the PS2. Expect the game to come out sometime during the holiday season later this year. Until then enjoy the trailer below!
