The Gates Of Hell Are Open To All This Weekend

Those that were unfortunate enough not to receive a beta invite to Blizzard Entertainment’s highly anticipated hack and slash title Diablo III, Rejoice! The beta is open to all this weekend and the only requirement is that you have a Battle.net account. So if you’re planing on purchasing Diablo III upon its release and don’t have an account yet, now may be the time to make one. The beta includes play-ability of five classes up to level 13 and free to play ACT I of the game. The reason for the open beta weekend seems to be that Blizzard wants to stress test their servers before its release next month. The open beta begins from Friday, April 20 at 12:01 p.m. PDT (noon), until Monday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m. PDT.

Any trouble shooting and other FAQ information is available on their blog for those that encounter any problems that typically occur when there is a massive increase in players in the world.

The gates of hell will be opened for good on May 15th.
