Why Saints Row and Grand Theft Auto Shouldn’t be Compared

It has been a common trend among gamers to compare two games of specific genres. When players compare these games they usually take a side and fight till the death defending their favored title. The games sometimes can even take emotional tolls on their fans because they fight so hard to defend them against what is presumed to be their competitor. Two of the most common games thrown into the everlasting argument are Saints Row and Grand Theft Auto. Let’s take a second to step back and look at the bigger picture as to why these games should not be compared.

The Saints Row series made its debuted back in August of 2006. The first Saints Row game was not far from a trend setter. Volition was able to grasp an audience and hold them loyal to the series for games to come. Saints Row’s true gangster ways was compelling in so many different ways.
