New and interesting puzzle games seem to be rarer nowadays (have they ever been commonplace?) but those that really stand out are even harder to come by. This is one area that digital distribution seems to have allowed to flourish though, low overhead and more sales equal a better eco system for developers to take a chance with new, fresh, ideas. Where’s My Water probably would never have made it to publishing under old school means.
