The action puzzle game Scribblenauts from 5th Cell was a darling of game critics prior to its release on the Nintendo DS in September of 2009. It went on to decent review scores and sales despite some issues with the controls. However, the concept of being able to write what the player needs to solve a puzzle and have it appear is still a great idea that the developers hoping to continue to flesh out with the sequel, Super Scribblenauts.
