The Nintendo 3DS may have gotten off to a rocky start but the price cut to $170 and high profile games like Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 drove sales of the handheld past the 4 million mark in December. Sales of the 3DS are faster than the Wii during the first nine months of existence.
