Ni No Kuni: Wizard’s Edition Coming To America, But Not Canada

When collector’s editions of decidedly non-American video games are announced for multiple regions, the States are often left out of the equation. Thankfully, that won’t be the case with Level-5 and Studio Ghibli’s upcoming RPG title Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch on PS3.

It seems the appropriately-named “Wizard’s Edition” of the game, which includes downloadable goodies and a surprisingly lavish hardcover spell book, is appearing in North American stores alongside the vanilla version.

Well, almost all of North America. If you happen to live in Canada, you’re plumb out of luck unless you want to start finding yourself some import options. According to the Club Namco online store, anyone buying it in North America can only ship it to an address in the United States.

If you’re angling to get Ni no Kuni‘s special edition before they sell out, you can pre-order it right now. Dropping 99 dollars on the package still gets you everything that’ll be in the other region’s collector’s editions, give or take 5-to-7 business days.
