Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Set To Release Next Month
According to Xbox.com at least. If a recent listing on Xbox.com is accurate, Ubisoft’s mysterious Far Cry 3 spin-off game, Blood Dragon, will be released on May 1st, 2013 and will be a standalone game, so you don’t need to own Far Cry 3 to play it. Just last week we got to see the first screenshots of the game, but Ubisoft still haven’t come out and officially announced any real details of the game. The Xbox.com listing also reveals that the game will be a single player only adventure, with no details for co-op or multiplayer to be found. The description of the game is as follows: “Far Cry® 3 Blood Dragon is THE Kick-Ass Cyber Shooter taking place on a bizarre open-world island crawling with evil. Welcome to an 80’s VHS vision of the future. The year is 2007 and you are Sargent Rex Colt, a Mark IV Cyber Commando who’s fighting against a cyborg army gone rogue. Your mission: get the girl, kill the baddies, and save the world. Experience every cliché of a VHS era vision of a nuclear future, where cyborgs, blood dragons, mutants, and Michael Biehn (Terminator, Aliens, Navy Seals) collide.” So it has nothing to do with Far Cry 3, other than cashing in on its name I guess. Either way, if it plays as good as Far Cry 3 and is half as cool as it sounds, I’m in.The post Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Set To Release Next Month appeared first on .... Read More»
