At the recent Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas, Microsoft spent their last CES show congratulating themselves while revealing nothing new in the way of actual consumer electronics. Among the data thrown around during the press event, Microsoft reps referred to the Xbox 360′s 66 million users. In a clarifying press release the morning after, Microsoft revealed that the “Xbox 360 has sold more than 66 million consoles.” A fair enough claim but given recent holiday sales data, is it true?
