Persona 4 Arena Xbox 360 Lag Hits Japanese Players, Atlus Looking Into It


Although Japanese fighting game fans are among the first console owners to get a crack at Persona 4 Arena, the Xbox 360 release has been noticeably marred by lag-filled online play. Altus took to the title’s official blog to address the issue and provide a quick fix for the masses while their development team gets around to patching up the netcode.

As reported by the ever-reliable Andriasang, the online lag only seems to occur through Xbox Live connections.

Altus’s PR team made a blog post publicly apologizing to everyone that was experiencing sluggish online play, which is a pretty quick turnaround for a game that just released in the region yesterday. Additionally, they also recommended using the built-in settings to scale back their matchmaking range to local matches with solid Internet connectivity.
